2017 in Review
This year I have learned and experienced quite a lot. I'm thankful for the opportunities I've been given and the people I've met along the way.
This year I started my life as a college grad. I interned at a top U.S. healthcare communications firm. I had my first car wreck. I met Jaden Smith on Valentine's Day. I grew close to my Ethos house church. I quit my dream job of being a barista. I spent too little time with my family. I went to Washington D.C. for the first time. I moved to the other side of the world to be a volunteer. I met amazing people who spend their lives giving others basic freedom. I dealt with living abroad being harder than expected. I made a lot of new friends whom I love. I rode on the back of a scooter in Bangalore traffic. I fully experienced Indian hospitals. I met a handsome guy at church, hesitantly said yes to dating him, and fell in love. I was sea sick on a boat in the Bay of Bengal and swam in the Arabian Sea. I lost a friend to an accident and felt the pain of losing someone. I started sharing my love for essential oils and received a family of coworkers. I spent Christmas away from family for the first time. I learned more about myself. I grew a tiny bit more confident in myself. I doubted myself. I made mistakes. I experienced the grace of God and gave grace to others. I felt God's absence, but I also experienced the love of God more than I ever have.
Here's to 2018 and all that God has in store!
